The Pennsylvania Area Health Education Center, Clinical Care Options, and Practicing Clinicians Exchange cordially invite you to attend a CME/CE-certified live webinar titled, “Shifting the Focus of T2D Management to Incorporate Weight Loss.” This activity will improve the knowledge, competence, and performance of primary care providers to optimize treatment of patients with T2D and overweight/obesity.

Overview of the etiology of obesity and pathophysiology as it relates to diabetes progression

Challenges with long-term weight loss due to multifactorial etiology, metabolic adaptations to weight loss

Updates to guidelines and consensus statements regarding weight loss in T2D management

Comparison of weight-loss profiles of available T2D treatments

Patient case discussions on identifying and resolving barriers to weight loss in T2D management followed by faculty discussion

Navigating Youth Behavior

Accessing behavioral health providers has become more challenging as the demand for services grows. To address this, we've teamed up with The Wright Center for Community Health to offer a Virtual Lunch & Learn Series!
