Clinical Rotations/Community-Based Learning Experiences![]() We are very pleased to connect students with valuable AHEC rotation opportunities throughout our communities, including enriching community-based learning experiences. Across Pennsylvania, medical and health professions schools are joining forces with the Pennsylvania AHEC to build a stronger, more accessible healthcare workforce. We're working together to provide crucial education, training, and raise awareness, especially in communities that need it most. Our goal is to ensure everyone has access to quality healthcare by supporting the growth and development of dedicated professionals. Our health professions students are fortunate to rotate through some of the major teaching institutions that fall within a designated AHEC region. For Pennsylvania AHEC to maintain our vital role in rural health care it is imperative for the state to track the number of students who rotate through a given site within a designated AHEC region throughout the year so that we can continue to support these important efforts. Our focus is on Primary Care Rotations in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Psychiatry, particularly at underserved and rural sites. Towards the end of each rotation block, students will receive a notification or can visit our website directly to complete the following survey: Your feedback directly shapes future clinical rotations. Take a few minutes to complete the survey and help us improve the experience for everyone. Contact: Leslie Petroff, MPH ![]() |
