Northeast PA Area Health Education Center Rural Health Scholarship Program

The Northeast Pennsylvania Area Health Education Center (NE PA AHEC) has established the NE PA AHEC Rural Health Scholarship Program to support high school seniors from our region who plan to attend a two-year allied health program at one of the colleges in our area.

Eligible counties include Bradford, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Wayne, and Wyoming.

This $2,000 scholarship is designed to assist students pursuing careers in allied health fields following graduation. The scholarship will be distributed in two equal installments: half will be awarded in the first year of college, and half will be awarded in the second year.
