NHC Host Sites

The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) began in 1972 with the goal of strengthening and growing our primary care workforce by connecting primary health care clinicians to people in the United States with limited access to healthcare.

NHSC supports skilled health care workers and requires health care workers to serve in high-need areas, referred to as Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs).
